Adam Peasfurlong (son of Hugh de Hindley) and Elizabeth de Culcheth had two daughters: *Margaret who married William Radcyffe and carried the Peasfurlong quarter of the manor to her husband, in whose line it remained until the regn of Henry VIII.
- Beatrice, Margaret's sister, married Richard de Molyneaux of Crosby, and had a share of the manor of Hendley, her father's portion.

Adam FitzHugh de Hindley (a.k.a Adam de Peasfalong), is one of the four sons of Hugh de Hindley of Hindley, co. Lancs. and his wife Beatrix.[1] He is said to be the only son to carry on the HINDLEY surname.[2]
According to Rylands (1877), Adam "took lands in Peasfalong," and is sometimes referred to as Adam de Peasfalong in charters. Peasfalong came to Adam through his marriage to one of the co-heirs of Gilbert de Culceth of Culceth. His wife's name may have been Beatrix, but this is uncertain.[1]
Cecelia married Gilbert DE CULCHETH [92943] [MRIN: 30994] in 1240 in Lathom House Lathom Lancashire England. Gilbert was born about 1205 in Culcheth Lancashire England and died in 1275 in Culcheth Lancashire England aged about 70.... Children from this marriage were:...

WILLIAM DE RADCLIFFE A rich and influential land owner who married Margaret, the daughter and heiress of Adam de Hindley, in the year 1303, He succeeded his father in the year 1324 and included in his wealth the estate of his wife-that of Peasfurlong, a parcel of eleven acres in Culcheth, and some small rents in Little Lever and Longworthe.
As nephew of Sir John Radcliffe he inherited Ordsall Hall.
