About Abigail Vinton
1.To Abigail Richardson3 of Woburn, March 9,1702-3. She was b. Nov. 14, 1683, according to the Town Record, [the Town Record says 14th of 9m°.] and died June 20,1720, " aged 36 years, 5 months, 6 days." This age is attributed to her, both on her gravestone, and in the Woburn Town Record. According to this, she was b. Jan. 15, 1683-4, which is two months later than is stated in the town record of her birth.
She was the eldest daughter (sixth child) of Stephen and Abigail (Wyman) Richardson, and grand dau. of Samuel Richardson,one of the original settlers of Woburn in 1641. (S. Richardson, 42.] Her grandfather on the mother's side was Francis Wyman, also one of the first settlers of Woburn. She d. at " Charlestown-End," now Stoneham, but was carried to Woburn (three* miles distant) and buried, as there was then no public burying ground in Stoneham.
