Abigail was the daughter of John Woodward and Rebecca Robbins of Newton, Mass. She m. Newton 21 June 1715 (VR) William GREENWOOD, b. Newton 14 Oct 1689, d. Sherborn, Mass. 14 Nov 1756, the son of Thomas and Abigail Greenwood. They settled in Sherborn, Mass. soon after their marriage, where William was a tythingman in 1717, a selectman for 6 years and town clerk for 24 years. He was also a representative to the Mass. General Court in 1747. Abigail and William had ten children born from 1716 to 1737.
