Hatsuld was born in 1691. He was the son of Thomas Freeman and Rebecca Sparrow[1] [2]
On June 18, 1719, he married Thankful [sic: Abigail] Hallet, the daughter of Jonathan Hallett of Yarmouth, Massachusetts[2], and their children included:
Mr. Hatsuld Freeman was admitted to the church in Harwich on Oct. 2, 1726, and was elected Deacon June 9, 1756, but declined the office, and was excused[2]
He died May 23, 1773, and was buried in the old burying-ground in Brewster[2] [3]. His will, which was signed on May 13, 1773, and passed probate on July 13, mentions his four daughters Abigail Childs, Betty Chipman, Mary Perry, and Jerusha Clark, the heirs of his daughter Sarah Freeman, deceased, and his sons David and Jonathan. Edmund Freeman and his widow Abigail were executors[2]
Agibail lived to the age of 98 yrs. and 24 days, and is buried with her husband[2]
