Abigail Pitman (b. Abt. 1654, d. date unknown) Abigail Pitman (daughter of William Pitman and Barbara Evans) was born Abt. 1654 in Oyster River, NH1183, 1184, and died date unknown in Montreal, Ouebec.She married Stephen Willey (Etienne Willis) on 1671 in Oyster River, Strafford Co, NH. She married Edouard DeFlecheur on 06 Oct 1710 in Canada.

Notes for Abigail Pitman: Stephen, mariner, ±30 in Sept. 1679, m. by 1671 Abigail Pitman and liv. on homestead. In 1683 he (stephen) was murderously jealous of her and John Bickford, jr., at which time protected her.

Captured by Indians in 1689 and taken to Quebec, Canada from where she never returned. Also captured were her two young daughters, Elizabeth and Judith. There is no proof that they returned from Canada either. Married Edward De Flecheur 6 Oct 1710 in Quebec.
