About Abigail Beckwith

Abigail CLARK, daughter of Samuel Clark & Mary Brown, was born [1] 15 Feb 1713. [2]She died [3] 2 Nov 1798.[4] Abigail married Daniel SPERRY . Records show her to have been the widow of Jonathan Bronson, Ephraim Squires, & Alexander Roberts when she married Daniel. She later married James Beckwith.

Jonathan Bronson son of John 9 b May 14 1706 in Southing ton m May 17 1732 Abigail Clark daughter of Samuel and Mary Brown Clark.

He lived on East Street not far from the house of the late Liva Barnes where he died Aug 20 1751.

His widow married after his death three times, the fourth time Feb 14 1769 to James Beckwith, and she outlived him dying Nov 2 1798 aged 86.

She was the first admitted to the church after Mr Curtiss became pastor. In giving her death the paper says She was the youngest of nine children who were all born within ten years and six months from the birth of the first and all lived to very great ages their ages added together made seven hundred and thirty seven years.
