About 4.Judge Imre LASZLO-LANSKY (WINKLER)
He lost his parents at an early age and lived with three families of his relatives,
the Winklers, the Laszlos and the Neuwelts(?).
Two years older than Bela Stark, they were living together as students at the University of Prague.
He practised in Karlovy Vary. On one occasion he had to rescue Uncle Beno (Marvan-Moskovics) who had been jailed for merely a social association with a political activist.
Some years after the war he went to Israel, and there married, a pianist.
Although he had known nothing of Judaism, in Israel he was studying it and head of a study group.
He returned to Czechoslovakia, and changed his name (a second time?)
from Laszlo, which is Hungarian, to Lansky which is a Czech name.
Bela met with him both in Vienna and Israel. They never discussed his war years and how he had managed to survive.
A son was born after the war, possibly in the 1950's.
He was/is a lawyer in Vienna.
