Seems like the mother should be older

William birth: 1278
Thomas Birth: circa February 14, 1313

still, there is tremendous jump in ages between children. I even considered that Giles might be Guy,
her husband since the age was a year apart.

I do realize that Guy was not the father of Giles,Walter, born 1243 was the father. He fits, his wife does not fit
