It happened to me many times that I am looking to add a spouse to people known to be single, yet, because there is no obvious way to show it clearly, I wasted many hours to find the inexistent.
Please let me know how to overcome this shortcoming.

Good question. I have indicated that in the "About Me" section where I knew it for people. But you are right I believe that there is no field to indicate unmarried and that if we know someone to be unmarried it would save others from searching for a non-existent spouse.

Noah Tutak Has then been discussed previously as a possible data field on profiles?
