I will certainly help with the Boutilier's, I do suspect that some of Jean Nicholas Boutilier & Anna Judith METIN's children, have been attributed to Jean GEORGE Boutilier and his wife ANN Catherine Maillard. What a mess. Jean George and Jean Nicholas are brothers!

I fixed a couple of errors. Let me know what else you find wrong.

Hi Curators!
I would really appreciate your help. I have been trying to unmerge Feigel Reinhold (Feigele Reinhold) from what it says is her father R' Meir Rottenberg of Apt, The Ohr LaShamayim (R' Meir). I was unable to delete her father and when I tried a warning came up saying that I would split the tree. It did not let me proceed. I even tried deleting Feigele Reinhold, so I could just start again, but it did not let me do that.

@Gila Feigele Reinhold is a private profile and too recent for us curators to remove the relationship, I believe. Is it possible that we could detach R'Mier from an incorrect relationship to solve this? This profile is managed by Malka Mysels who is a curator.

how do i get geni to show the correct path to my "cousin" it is her 8th grandfather and my 6th, but geni shows a waaaayyyy out relationship
this is me Private User and this is her Brittany Christine Jenkins and this is our common ancestor David D. Casto, I they have her as my fourth cousin 17 times removed's husband's 15th great granddaughter right now

@Kathy - I have the same problem, hope they have a "fix" for that

Relationship paths are saved ("cached") for up to a week, so even when the tree changes to bring someone closer to you, it may take that long before a path search finds the closer relationship.

@ Anchit, thank you so very much, is there anyway that I can be added as a manager of these profiles? I have requested to be, but the manager has not responded. It would make cleaning up that confusion between Jean Nicholas and Jean George and spouses and children so much easier. Thank you, Barbara Shepard

John "Culah" Boutilier I don't know where he belongs. His mother would have been 57 if she gave birth to him! Nicholas Maalan (sp) doesn't respond to me, so I can't ask him where he found this information. He isn't listed in Don Shankle's transcriptions, and it is HIGHLY unlikely that his parents are Jean Nicholas Boutilier & Anna Judith Metin.

Hi, I have got my tree connected to a bunch of master profiles due to some bad information. Benoni Hilliard has been attached to David Hilliard, who is managed by someone else. Can I get this relationship removed so I can delete my profile of Joshua Hilliard?

Thank you. I discovered that this man was someone named Benoni Hillard, so instead of deleting him, I changed his info after the relationship was removed.

Joseph Boutilier
This is the other Joseph who also is listed with the wrong parents. I guess people aren't doing much RESEARCH when they upload something! He is the son of Jean George Boutilier II. He also came up in my hot matches, but is listed witht he wrong parents.

Could someone please remove the parents for Thomas Cooke, alias Butcher

They are obviously the parents of some other Thomas Cooke, but not this one.

yes, I have "reported" the death of both of these gentlemen and gotten no response. Any idea how long it usually takes?

It takes a while..unfortunately Geni is the only people who can edit that type of profile. We have to understand that because of Geni's privacy policies they do not want anyone to be able to edit a claimed profile.
