I think this is referring to Joan Furnival and the confusion with Joan de Verdun... I've been workiing in this area to try to clear up some confusion.

I would like a curator's assistance in completing the merge of these two profiles--6000000008198743534 and 6000000010543001323--with the master profile for William Borah, 6000000009959184623.

In the master profile, Alice Roosevelt is listed as William's wife, but in fact she was his mistress. His wife was Mary McConnell.

Ann, If you can edit the profile for William, go to relationships and set Alice to partner. Geni does not have headings for mistresses or concubines. The other two, request editing rights and you might be able to merge them. With all the problems Geni is having today, I think I am going to give up for a while

@Eldon, thank you, I updated the Relationship between William Borah and Alice Roosevelt to "Partner" on his main profile. I don't want to request editing rights to the other profile because I do not want to get "news, photos, birthdays" etc. from the other manager by having him be in my family group.

if you request management, you will be added as an *additional* manager. This has nothing to do with joining the other manager(s) Family Group. So you would ONLY get updates on the profile itself (which you probably want).

Anne, It never hurts to try all your options, You can always change them after your work is done.

Not sure if anyone can help with this, but somehow this male profile had its "maiden name" set to Stone, and I can't edit or delete it.

Marvin, It is gone from my merge center. I just did another requested merge on the same profile and had six data conflicts which I cleaned up. Hope that takes care of it. Thanks!

Eldon, have you ask Brock Harris to do this merge?
His tree is not connected to the Big Forest and he maybe have deny it.
Therefore it comes back to your tree match
