Thanks Jenna -- you are awesome! You wouldn't want to do this one and the ones surrounding him by chance, would ya? ;-) http://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000008260442128?fsession_id=1...
Thanks!
This is my 3rd great grandmother, Mercy (Bates) Penhollow:
Unknown Profile
This other public profile is also my 3rd great grandmother:
Unknown Profile
I have tried to contact the profile manager, with no luck so far. I know there is a third profile for her as well, but it is marked private and I haven't heard back from that profile manager either.
Michael, I was able to merge your two grandmothers. They were both public, so I could get it done.
The third Mercy, if you can find her, I would be happy to see if I can help. Just type @ and my full name at the beginning of your message, and I'll get a notice. She died in 1894. In long-lived families, she may still be within the confines of a family group. It gets chancy with dates after 1850.
Could someone please assist with the following merge:

Thanks!
@Michael Douglas Dean
For some reason, my name didn't hyper-text so I just saw your post when I checked discussion.
The good new is that all your grandmothers appear to be merged together. I compared the profile you just gave me to the one we worked on earlier today. Both times the hyperlink takes me to the identical profile. You appear as one of the co-managers on that profile.
Maria - Yes both wives are correct - its just the parentage that is the question - -
i would of gladly add it into the 1982 revisions book printed volume no questions asked - if the facts added up - - and full documentation given other than just IGE/LDS - - - maybe i am wrong in feling this way - - but i just can not see jonathan emery & jershua Barron and i would of gladly added it in the ensuing years but no one could answer why just one child was born in Sussexk new jersey and all others in massachusetts, and maine.
maybe i am totlay wrong - - I will add Jacon to the present emery project or satart a new one just for his family and known facts - - i would love to solve the puszzle
thank you so much - - I have always thought he could be of the conrad Emery family from Hunterdon new jerssey - - but again there is no real connection to Sussex county new jersey === and there is nothing there in the research on the line to correctly tie him itno that family - - and with the assumption that George emery and johana [-?-] Emery are his parents and that they were born or are from new york just adds another quirk and mystery into the family
Judi,
I take the LDS program with a large grain of salt. Users create profiles, just as we do here on Geni, but there's no collaboration, no merging of profiles to create the best possible profile. Just like Geni, some users will include their sources and some won't; some sources will be correct and some won't. I always try to cross check an LDS profile against other sources before using them.
Maria - me too - - that is whay I have never added jacob to the john and anthony Emery manuscript back when i was demanded to do - so and never have thus far
i have only had one major disccusiion which was about a year ago in whihc i produced an excell sheet fro all fo john Emery's decendants down to the family of Jonathan and jersusa barron and their grandchildren priving they had absolutely no connection to New jersey - -
right at this moment i think the problem is solved - if proof is ever even to an indisputable point i think we can all agree he can be added back into the emeyr's without much trouble -
ii have just heard from an Emery descendant on anthony's side who diescends from anthony - - but he also has a known lineage from jacob which connects up with and to the jacob emery of Susses county new jersey - - I am awwaiting to see what inf he has which should prove interesting .
Thanks to gene4 too for his input - i know I am being a PIA about this and may sound like I am being to pickey - -
I have created a project listing the highlights of what I know of Jacob Emery of sussex county New jersey - and will add it as an Interst to the Emery project too
again many thanks for listneing and considering ....
