I am not good on private / living profile issues. Do you have access to the duplicate profile is my first question? If so, then I think (and hopefully another curator can verify) that you'll be OK with deleting one.

I am following the Stucky project and will try and help with public profiles there - particularly the Reynolds!

Post through "Project Discussions," I'll get it in my "newsfeed," and do what I can. I'm sure other curators will be along.

Hi, Sally and Leslie. Looks like they are all done except the last one.

Sally, are the two Jacob Monrads the same--one with with named NN von Bora and the other with wife Elizabeth Luther?

The Stickney merges are so numerous that the blue plus signs outweigh the rest... Just looking at the lines makes me dizzy. Can anyone take care of some of these merges? (of course attributing the correct mothers with the correct children.) I mean after all, a mother cannot give birth after she is dead.
Pam, I think so... but look close, I do not to be mistaken.... I am refering to Samuel Stickney son of William b. in England 1633m. 1 to Julian Swan died between years of 1670 and 73, his second wife was Prudence (Leaver) Gage, he married her Apr 6, 1674. So it stands to reason that any kids born to Samuel after 1674 are the children of prudence, and prior to that the children are from Julian Swan.
I am using the resource of The Stickney Family a genealogical memoir of the descendants of William and Elizabeth Stickney from 1637 to 1869 by Matthew Adams Stickney members of the New England Historic-genealogical society, the vermont and Wisconsin Historical Societieset.... book was published in Salem, MA for the author by the Essex institute Press in 2869.

These blue plus signs are all merges that are pending, and have been for a long time.

Pam, umn, I mixed in my reply to your question with my last post. Sorry... What I mean is I am not sure abiout the Monrads... Please take a good look and check if I am correct.

Sally, that Jacob Monrad pair is so lacking in information that I don't feel comfortable merging them since this is outside my area of expertise. Is there a curator or a well-connected PRO user working in this area who could help you with your Stickney merges and help get rid of all the blue plus signs? :^)

I was contacted about this Sargent profile, which is managed by: Cynthia, Albert Ray Beam and Bjørn P. Brox.
Maxwell Sargent
It looks as though someone has merged a wrong Maxwell Sargent of a later date (parents dates 1889-July 24, 1939 and June 4, 1899-December 30, 1969) with the Maxwell 1465 Sargent, he must not have had a wife, or maybe the P Sargent (Hetherington) was connected to him as that profile does not have any parents or dates. Maybe that is why it was miss merged, if Maxwell's of different generations had wife's with the same last name.

I have added another Maxwell Sargent and have messaged and requested the other managers to take over if they were connected to the son Roger 1504 Sargent.
I have unlinked the Hetherington profiles so the son Roger is only connected to one mother and the two fathers, but Geni would not let me remove the incorrect parents.

Can you please remove Roger 1504 Sargent as the son of the other Maxwell Sargent
and
Patricia Anne Sergent

Pam you are right... very little info, but surel has to be the right sex... i am not necessarially wanting to merge as much as correct the sex of this profile.
Regarding Stickney, most of the plus signs are mine waiting for people to merge, they are pending merges.... so I have done all I can do with them.

Sally, the Jacobs are both male now. I'm just not sure if the one married to von Bora, with no dates or anything, is the same as the one married to Elisabeth Luther (son of Heinrich/Hans) so I didn't merge them. Sorry I couldn't help more!

Robert, I don't want to merge that one since one of them is in an unattached tree. I think you should write to the tree manager (Tyler Murray) first, out of courtesy, to ask if he wants to merge.
