If possible can someone help me please make
Private User
the co-manager/primary manager of his surrounding family (parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.). There are some formerly claimed and now abandoned profiles I can't do anything with. He had asked me specifically to make him a manager of his father but can't due to the reason previously stated.
Thanks
How can I remove someone from a project??? I added Rev Jeriel Root to the American Revolution, then was reviewing his profile & realized that what I had just added was actually about his "probable" father who was in the Am. Revolution.
Since I don't have documentable info on Jeriel Root's parents, I hesitate to add them into Geni until I have found more definitive info.
Thanks for any help,
Pat
Pam, Thanks. I was a little over zealous in adding Jeriel Root. Right now am attempting to find his parents & found 1 site that had Jesse Root as a probable parent. Just hate to put him into Geni until I can get some documentable info. Don't want to have to "undo" or disconnect him from my line. Also don't want to waste my time putting someone into the system & maybe have him hanging loose in the ozone if he isn't my ancestor.
Hugs & Angels be with you,
Pat
Patricia Ann Scoggin - Currently, the profiles added to a Project are listed in the order added. So if it was recently added, you can find it pretty quickly at the top of that project's list of profiles.
Then, if you are a project collaborator, you can use the 'Remove' option in that listing.
As you are project collaborator, you should be able to do that.
(One way to "get there" is to go to the person's profile, click on the particular project name, then [on the project page] click on the Project Profiles [upper right] to get the listing. Find the profile and click 'Remove'.)
Hello curators,
Since come time I can't see my project Geni Polska http://www.geni.com/projects/Geni-Polska/14318 in my projects' list. I can access it only by searching it. Do you know why is that?
Best wishes,
KW
The projects list on your profile page is just the first projects, sorted alphabetically, unfortunately without a View All option there.
Your followed projects are in:
http://www.geni.com/projects?following_only=true
You can also enter the Actions/Invite to prjoects menu on your own profile
I don't know, it seems there's some problem with that. My main projects' page: http://www.geni.com/projects and I can see all the projects I'm collaborating or following (the ones at the bottom weren't updated in a long while) but I can't see Geni Polska.
I did now - I saw all the projects I am following (including Geni Polska) and I could succesfully 'add' myself to the projects I was already a part of - but with the same result, still I can't see Geni Polska on my main projects' list.
It's nothing to be worried about, I just hope that the rest of collaborators can easily access the project (and not with searching by keywords). :)
re: http://www.geni.com/projects/Geni-Polska/14318 ... It would be best, at this point, for one of you Pro-member collaborators to open a Geni Ticket for that project (Pro member capability), stating the issue as clearly as possible. You can add that Curators are able to join that project and see it in their list of projects, but Pro members cannot.
