Erica Howton I don't need to be among the managers of this profile, I did none of the work, but to add a simple document. Could you see if the original lone profile is worthy of merging and leave me out of it please?
Danny Franklin Drollinger yes, it's a match. Too bad it didn't show as a match for the merge centers of the managers.
You can relinquish management from the "manager" option on the Actions menu, profile view.
I hope others would find it in their hearts to assist in merging the children- i think I got the ancestors OK, but I'm running out of steam & frankly my hand hurts.

Most of the "big guys" have been MP's thanks to curator hard work for the last several years, so for duplicate lines, like the abandoned account, it's a matter of merging to MP and resolving data conflicts to the MP value. Shouldn't have to worry about the proper naming conventions much but the handy short hand is
Accepted Surnames and Patronymics
The surname field should almost always contain a patronymic.
Welsh
ap means "son of," e. g., Cadeyrn ap Gwrtheyrn
verch means "daughter of," e. g., Afrella verch Gwrtheyrn
Drolli I agree with you & more importantly so do the collaborators who put together the naming conventions in the project referenced. So no one can go "wrong" all being on the same wavelength, resolving data conflicts to conform to the area & language specific project norms.
Then curators can continue to work making MP's for members to see in their trees & learn about their ancestors & make contributions to our collective knowledge.
My Father in law, Hari Usnadi, somehow put my email address in his profile, which resulting his profile and mine merged by mistake. Now the whole family tree become messy. When he tried to fix it, somehow he changed his password and now he even cannot logon to GENI. How we fix this? Can we restore to previous condition (before he merged his profile with mine)? Appreciated for your help since our family found GENI is useful to maintain our Family Tree. Thanks a lot.
Hendrik Harms Moes is my 6th great grandfather but the profile path shows him as "your first cousin four times removed's wife's second great grandfather." due to my 5th great grandfather ( Berent Hendriks Moes ) marrying a cousin.
I've tried everything i can think of to try and reset the relationship path but to no avail. It is especially annoying as this is my direct patrilineal line and all the profiles in this section were created by me.
Alex, try loading his parents and/or the child you descend through, then go back to his profile and click the icon to refresh the path. That often fixes it. The only other thing I've heard that works is simply waiting a day or two and then trying the above.
It always resets eventually; the problem is guessing how long it will take. How long has this path been messed up for you?
It's a known issue, but I'll add you to the list of reports.
Alex Moes,
Here's the path 6th greatgrandfather to Hendrik Harms Moeskoker :-)

I need help merging profiles. I've tried to contact the distant relatives involved, but have not received any replies.
One is
Patty Weber Daughter Of Cynthia Feiner and Harvey Alberman
and the profile of Patrice Weber (Alberman)

Jonathon Alberman
Son Of Cynthia Feiner and Harvey Alberman
Brother Of Jonathon Alberman; Mindy Alberman; Patrice Weber and the profile of Jonathon Alberman
thanks...in advance
Larry Dantus Private profiles in isolated tree. Requests have been sent but it is up to the managers to accept them
Private User Thanks for that, i've tried all of the things others suggested with no luck and this has been a n issue for several months. How did you fix it because the same issue is still affecting the later generations, ie. Hendriks father instead of being my 7th ggf displays as "Harm Jans Mooskoocker is your first cousin four times removed's wife's third great grandfather."
Please help merge these to member's profiles
Thanks!

Did you already try searching these for finding more Dutch Familymembers MOES:

There were recent merges involving Martha Wilbore.
It's very clear from the Curator's Notes and the About Me that her parents were unknown and that she was the wife of William Wilbore. His profile also makes it clear that her parents were unknown.
I wonder if some third Martha was merged with Martha (Unknown) Wilbore, wilfe of William Wilbore? Because it looks from the Revisions that she was detached after the merge from SAMUEL Wilbore.
I have no idea how an Audley got into the mix but her profile and her husband's were correct and MPed and well documented prior to recent merges.
Thanks for keeping on top of this.
