Danny,
Use the Family Button at top right of your screen, from the drop down menu select Photos then navigate thru your folders to find the photo which you have uploaded and open that photo.
In the details section below the photo the first line is "In this photo" [edit].
Press the blue [edit] and a data entry box will pop up in which you can nominate which profiles you want to associate with that profile. It is a good idea to visit the profiles involved just prior to opening the photo so that the names will be in your recently visited list.
Usually if there is only one photo associated with a profile Geni will automatically set that photo as the person's profile picture. If a profile has more than one photo attached to it you can select which one you want to be the profile photo by ...
... the key is, once you've uploaded a photo, you shouldn't have to do so again.
Another approach is to:
-> view the full profile to which you want to add the photo, then
-> select the Media tab.
Depending on whether or not there are already photos attached to that profile, you then
->click either "Add Photos" or (if none so far) "Click here" to upload.
At that point, instead of using one of the uploaders,
-> select the "Browse Your Albums" tab,
-> navigate to the photo(s) you want to attach to that profile,
-> select them (check mark), then
-> click the blue "Add Photos" button at the bottom.
This it the approach I use most often.
I just have my 'frequently shared' photos (e.g.: a "Died Young") in their own folders so I don't have to search through a large list of the "other" profile-type pictures.
When I upload a photo to my harddrive I always (whether photo or doc) give it a name...my docs/photos folder sorts by first name...so I just type in the name...and I get all the (i.e.) Mary's...and all I have to do is type the last name and all docs and photos for that particular person is available, I just pick the right one for my purpose.
Hello, could you please delete my relationships, this is my duplicate account Private User
I need also to be removed this profile Tair Timmi cause this is duplicated also and he isn't related with Merilin Perli. Merilin can't delete from her's profile also.
Thank You !
Can you help me merge public profiles, again, where I can't get response from one of the profile managers?
Edward Arkin, Leon Arkin, Celia Springer, Louis Springer, Abe Springer, Elsie R Hertz, Max Arkin, Esther Arkin
There are other matches in that part of the tree, but those are the public ones.
Hello Curators!!! I am pretty sure that something is wrong with this relationship pattern.
Elizabeth Rebecca McCoy
This Elizabeth Blair's mother is Nancy, and Nancy's mother is Elizabeth Blair? And vice versa!
Too many twists for me Private User, Elizabeth and husband are also born the same time as her grandparents, which is of course before Nancy's birth. Also, there is a confusion of Brice's with Brice, Brice I, and Brice II. The problem could be there, but as I said it's too tricky for me, just thought I'd try.
Good Luck
Don't have nearly enough "event" sub projects to http://www.geni.com/projects/American-Revolutionary-War/272
The "Related Projects" link is up to date. No Valley Forge battle.
