All set, Private! Thanks for pointing it out. I put a curator note on Capt Samuel Griffith, I asking people to not reconnect those parents. It looks like that theory comes from bad info in an LDS file.

(I should mention that I also put notes on Sir Henry Griffith II, 2nd Baronet of Burton Agnes and Elizabeth Wray. Thanks again!)

When i compare profiles at the moment it's shown as mm/dd/yyy.

Incorrect path:
Why is this not showing Julien as my great xxxxxx grandfather? Instead it takes me through another path and makes me a distantly removed cousin of my ggggg grandad! How do I fix the path?

It is most unfortunate that at the present time there is no system capability for a Curator to 'reverse' (undo) a merge. All of us have been caught at least once (if not more!) wishing we could.

The only thing that can be done is to re-create the "other" profile, re-constructing as best as possible the data fields that belong to each (it would be nice if there were Sources, which don't disappear in a merge, or two "About" descriptions, which also get 'joined-together' -- but neither seems to apply in this case).

Then, once the two are re-created, the 'connections' to the surrounding profiles have to be moved to the correct profiles. Tedious, but necessary.

If you need help with the moving the connections, ask for a Curator assist (with specific links as to how each profile needs to be connected).

The real birt surname is correc or is Jemima Bostwick (Canfield Hine)

For Jemima Bostwick it looks correct for English (would not be for Spanish).

Her birth surname was her father's surname. After marriage her last name changed to her husband's.

Amber Powe is a minor and has not started a tree. Her aunt Marcia Barker is in breach of this as her grandparents , which we are are the only additional guardians and have not given permission for either Amber or Samantha her sister to be in the public forum.
