I think this will prove particularly helpful: http://www.nottshistory.org.uk/articles/tts/tts1907/white/white1.htm
Apparently our mystery "Sir Thomas" is really Sir Thomas White of Tuxford, Notts, and his wife's name was Anne or Agnes (depending on which source you use). And, get this, she was *Lord Burghley's sister!*
hi Samu Alex Csernovszky
If you enter edit mode of the László Górász profile, go to relationship and remove the relation to Nancy Sulak. thats all
Nathan Rosenshein : I did Phyllis's merge and a number of others in that area. However, there are still several duplicates profiles where one of the pair is a Geni user. You will need to involve Customer Service to merge those so that they can be sure their login information is not 'lost' in the merge.
Be specific in your request(s) to Customer Service, noting both profiles of each pair by links. Remember that a 'blue outline' of a profile in Tree View denotes a Geni member.
Please assist. I am attempting to clean up my ancestor Marry (Root) Smith, wife of "orphan" John Smith and surrounding generations.. Someone has taken the fact of her second marriage to mean that Smith was her maiden name and attached the wrong set of parents to her. I have removed (I think) the incorrect parrents for her, but her son from second marriage has both "Mary Smith"s attached and will not allow me to remove the wrong one.

This sort of detaching can't be done from outside the profile, and can only be done from inside by somebody with the authority to make major alterations (i.e. a curator, authorized manager, or authorized collaborator).
To get it done requires opening the profile, going to the Relationships page, and removing the unwanted relationship (ignoring any complaints about how it will "split the tree" - you WANT it split).

another merge that needs some help.....

this merge needs a boost as well!
Nathan Rosenshein Profile is in another tree and the Manager Yael Fine was last online 2008. Looks like a dead end.
This is one stuffed-up profile: Thomas White, of Sturton-le-Steeple
Alexander White had no son named "Thomas Roger". He had a son Roger and a son Thomas, and they were two different people.
None of them had anything to do with Messing, Essex - they were Nottinghamshire people.
"Mrs. Thomas White", whoever she is, is nearly twenty years older than he is.
On the other hand Elizabeth Wales is at least a plausible mate, being a girl from the old home town of compatible age.
Findings on Alexander White and descendants are cited here: http://www.massmayflower.org/publications/md/md43/MD43-183-186.pdf
Bad-Merge in progress here: Mary Robinson Birchard
She has four parents and I don't know which ones are correct.
Three pending merges, other manager has not been online since October 2011.

Maven, I found this: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hwbradley/aqwg364...
which gives Mary Birchard's parents as Henry Robinson and Elizabeth Orvice. I've found nothing to indicate the other set of parents could be correct.
Re: http://www.geni.com/discussions/80793?msg=862171
The other manager was on line a month ago it appears. The tree is "isolated / unconnected.". I've sent him a collaboration request noting the matches, often that helps.
