Hola all, I made a mistake and resolved a conflict incorrectly, how can I put it back into to be resolved category again. so I can do it right?
Anderson Russell Burleson
Sally Thomas try this method:
1. Go to the "Overview" tab.
2. Press the link for "History."
3. Select "Facts" tab.
4. Select "compare" radio button (on left) for timestamp 4/9/2011
5. If this gives you the results that match your source data, select the green "restore" button (on right)
Oh, actually, I think I now know what Sally is having a problem with:
The Revision history only shows the values actually stored in that profile. It does NOT retain all the alternatives which were part of the original data conflicts (which might include many alternative values). The "history" only shows the value that profile had before the data conflict was resolved, and the new value selected after the resolution. All the other alternative values are no longer visible (albeit they might be "in the system", we users can't get to them). The Revision history only shows values actually "recorded" with the "main" profile.
In this case, however, by going back to some of the earlier revisions, there *is* a death date which might be reasonable (check the 2nd revision on July 22, 2009).
However, I would recommend some 'googling' or whatever to find out if this is an issue with two children of the same name -- one died as an infant and the 2nd named after the first. That situation is not that unusual in some families.
more on Anderson Russell Burleson -- when I look at the brothers & sisters, there are, for example, two "infant/baby' siblings with the same birthdate of 1877 ...
... so ...
-- Were those twins that died young?
-- Was that one infant that was born & died in 1877?
-- Was one of the unknown infant(s) born in 1877 and died in 1880, and the data was confused with Anderson's 1879 birth date?
-- Was (one of?) the 1877 infant(s) named Anderson?
Lots of possibilities which could use a little investigation to make some reasonable conjectures, even if not able to find actual sources.
A little bit of FindAGrave looking found this: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=24849491 ... that should help with Anderson's minimal data.
Brendan Swemmer If you find it let me know. I will be offline Saturday - Monday but hopefully online Monday evening.
