Mary Beth Wortham If someone doesn't visit Geni over a period of a year they can then be reported as an 'abandoned tree' . A standalone tree such as yours is less of an issue however if it's a tree connected to the big tree and there are outstanding merge requests it can be a block to people.
Mary Beth Wortham I had seen some uncompleted merges with some duplicates of your Coleman family but since yours is a stand alone tree they don't have to be added into the big tree if you don't want them to be. :)
Since you are talking about cutting a connection between two claimed profiles and none of them are Pro: A curator like me or a Pro user can help you by inviting him/her temporary as a family group member and open up for access for a family member to edit your profile.

If you have children in common, then the relationship should "properly" remain as an ex-partner -- because of the parentage of the child / children.
Is there some concern beyond the displaying of the ex-partner with a dashed line in the tree view?
If there is a concern about editing profiles in Geni, you can "Block" your ex-partner's profile.
This is a merge that was already done, I think... but there is a problem here. Are there any cures?

Sally Thomas ... how does that look? I didn't see anything support any facts.
The only minor issue was the father dies one year before the son is born, but I suppose that is well within historical "circa" for that era as well as a 9 month gestation...
Perhaps more relevant, it seems there are parallel generations from Maude de Bonyngton down 4 generations to John Boys and Unknown Profile ...
Dates, spouses all match except spelling of last name!
Should we join the two variants?

has only 6 profiles under her management.
so guess it would be easyer,to just look the other way.
To bring a profile to a curator's attention:
My grandparents have been hi-jacked. My grandparents on paternal grandmother's side got high-jacked. Don't know if it was a merger error or just an error. Everything is fine at 26th great grandfather "Sigurd Halvdansson", then when I go to my 27th g. grandfather, "Halvdan «Gray» Grå (Sigurdsson), konge på Opplandene", it says he's my cousin but it still says his wife,"Tora Ranesdotter", is my 27th g. grandma. Strange stuff? It goes on to be wrong. After Halvdan «Gray» there is a pale line going off to an unknow tree that says "Halvdan Sigursdottir" is my grandma; this is wrong. How do I disconnect from this tree? The darker line still goes up to my 28th granfather "Sigurd Haraldsson Hrise, King of Hadafylke" but it say he's my uncle now instead of my g. grandfather. It still shows Snøfrid Svåsedotter, Norway as my 29th grandmother on my tree but if I click on her it say's she's my g. grandfather, Harald I Halvdansson «Fairhair» Hårfagre, 5th wife. How can I get rid of Halvdan Sigursdottir profile and get Snofrid, and her son Sigurd Haraldsson Hrise and grandsons back as my grandparents again? Thank you
I need this profile removed from my tree. She is not my g. grandmother and causing my g. grandparents to be read as cousins, uncles, etc..
Thank you
Halvan Sigursdottir
