Brenda G Garvin - Click on the name (in blue), to go to the Profile in question. If it is a claimed Profile, click on "Send a Message" (upper part of profile, right-hand side). Otherwise, click on "Contact Profile Manager" (same basic location) -- this sends a message to the Primary Manager. If this does not get a response in a reasonable time, you can look to see if there are other managers, click on one and send that person Geni-Message; OR - again, if no response to Primary Manager, if a public Profile, you can look to see if the Primary Manager has any Collaborators, geni-Message one of them -- perhaps asking to know who is a contact within the family and actually knows about it, since not all collaborators (or Managers, for that matter) are particularly familiar with all the Profiles they Manage or Collaborate on. But this should allow you to get in touch, if the folks are still active and willing to be responsive. I thoroughly agree with your approach, and sending a message may well get more response than just the merge-suggestion. My experience, the more you give some info explaining your connection and interest, the more likely a response.
