Requesting management on profiles without any manager have not been working since they moved it into the menu. The error is reported.
Roger, - ask someone with access to try this: http://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000011638077430?to=6000000011...
Roger Jacobs It looks to me like they are brothers. Different names, same parents, different wives and children.
Brendan Swemmer Have you reported Vanessa as an abandoned tree? That might help. At least they don't have hundreds of profiles.
Good afternoon everyone. This is on my merge issues list. I see a couple of potential problems with it, perhaps a mix up of generations, and am not going to do anything about it because of the problem. Is anyone in the know about thius? and can someone who is, please make corrections in this line "Mawl"

Sally Thomas Based on birth years, it looks to me like the correct parents are John Mawle b 1488 and Christine b 1490. Is this what you think is correct?
Eldon, in this site,
http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000002043249474?resolve=6...
2 John Mawles b. 1488, d. 1561; and John Mawle b.1512, d. 1579, are listed as the fathers of John Mawle b. 1510 d. 1579. What I am worried about is that the son John Mawle that died in 1579 may be the same as the father that died in 1579. Perhaps there is nothing to it, but then again, I wonder. and I Ihave no real research on this line, so do not want to do anything with it. Wondering if someone else might have more info, I do not want to make a mistake.
Also, please, could some resolve the data conflict here?

I keep doing it over and ovedr and it never takes, never gets done.
ok..my mormon guy James Graham married a lady Christianna Nixon Reed and then he married his step daughter Hannah Tucker Graham her daughter. can we put a note there or do you want to wait till i get all the wives in?
Private User -- As far as viewing the tree, it shouldn't be any issue (not the first time in history!). Do you have a question about how to make that connection? (In the tree view, select the "Move" under the "More" option for one of the profiles, such as Hannah's, and then drop it on top of James' profile, selecting the spouse option from the menu that shows up.)
The Tree view will look different depending on which profile is the "focus" (e.g.: might have a '2x' to denote the same profile in two places).
Other than putting an additional note in the "About" section of each to clarify the relationships (which was not obvious to me when I read through them), if your concern is that someone might later break the relationships as being incorrect, then -- after you have all the profiles connected together properly -- you can ask a curator to make them into Master Profiles (MP) to keep them from being messed with too much.
BTW: Are you in contact with the owner of the private profiles for which you've requested merges? If you have not been able to do so (and for some time), you may just want to cancel those merge requests (unless you don't mind having them hang around with the blue dots on the profiles). As private profiles, no one can force the merge to complete -- unless the user has abandoned the tree and Geni.com folks turn them over to you or some close relative of the original manager.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will report Private User as well as she has 15999 profiles.
I know I am a Curator, but there is a bug in the Geni code that prevents me from reporting profiles.
Can someone please report the following as a Claimed Historical Profile?
