Moses Goodwin is my 4th great-grandfather. Though he is just 1 of 64 in that generation of my forbears, since my last name is Goodwin, I am particularly interested in tracing this line back further.
Can anyone help on this? I have heard family lore that he (or more likely his father?) was one of four or five brothers who together(?) came to Virginia from England.
This is mere hearsay, and I wish I could know some documented facts!
