Merge never completing

Zissy is a user profile, so unless that user allows family members to edit her profile (see https://www.geni.com/account_settings/profile_privacy) only she can complete the merge.

It could be easier to delete the other profile (Private) if that is a duplicate.

I get the following error, Error
Relatives connected to this profile would become disconnected. To delete Zissy, first remove her connected relatives. You cannot delete this person.

I set this up and send her an invite, she just accepetd the invite and suddenly my son and his wife appear twice on the tree.

If she completes the merge that problem will go away.
