David Myers (David Myers, b 1745 in New Jersey) is unlikely as the son of Johannes Mayer died 1786 in Heidelberg Township, Pennsylvania.

David Meyers (born 1745) is the progenitor of a branch who settled in Canada. Their Y DNA has been tested as I-BY177889.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Myers-10022 shows different parents for "my" Martha---- they make more sense than these.
