I can't work with the images in your blog. I have tried, but I cannot do it.
There is more than one Dunn family in Virginia. There does seem to have been a line from Ireland (Walter). I do not know if that's accurate or not. You would need to query the managers of that profile.
In order to assist, I need is in each profile who the parents and spouse were. I cannot resolve conflicts without that information in the profile.
I also need you not to enter women's married names in the suffix. Geni kicks out an inconsistency. We put married names in the "last name" field.
The Dunn's from Ireland didn't immigrate to America until about 1750. Don't even go there. If you can't find an immigration/passenger list, nor anything regarding Walter, then we can't even consider that false claim. Your assessment is even weaker, when you support that lineage back to England. I told you everyone was trying to track their families back to 1610, because when they couldn't find the 14 y/o immigrant, they fudged the birth date, to 1610. Again, he was only one man, so there should not be so many duplicates. You should also realize that they've been doing it for a very long time, thus creating many duplicates of the same man.
If you chose to leave Newman connected to that old brick wall, then you are definitely causing another conflict. The images in my blog show the official documents which are being hidden, and I know perfectly well what I'm up against. I am also a database specialist, so I know how easily you could detach Walter from this Dunn family of Virginia.
If I entered a maiden name in the suffix field, I wasn't aware of it.
Re: If I entered a maiden name in the suffix field, I wasn't aware of it.
I referred to "married" name in the suffix field, not maiden. As I explained, Geni kicks out an inconsistency. I resolved them as I went along. Please, in the future, enter married names in the last name field. Thank you.

If I don't know the answer to a profile I see on Geni, I will ask it, and expect not to be insulted. Please answer as I requested, and by placing information, if it's lacking, in the profile.
I'm done for the day,
Don't avoid the issue. Your own source clearly states Ann's last name 'newman' is 'unproven'.
I have proven her last name was Fergison.
