Some sources state his Oslac's was Sabd of Ossory 750 – 804, married to Wihtgar of the Isle of Wight, son of Cynewulf, b c720, but he was probably the elder brother of Osmod (c801 – 836), the Governor of Sussex and Surrey.

Sabd ingen Maelaithgen hails from Ireland, daughter Maelaithgen of Ossory 750 – 804.

I have the following references, pobably dubious:

Oslac, Ealdorman of the Isle of Wight

The lineage goes back to trish mythology.

Is there any historicity in all this?

the websites you have listed are not sources they are just online family trees.

Oslac was said in the anglo saxon chronicles to be descended from Stuf and Whitgar but there is no lineage listed going back to them

Many thanks, Jason.

So I can assume these lineages are not genuine, in particular those relating to Sabd of Ossory.
