Ormerod’s pedigree does show William with a 1st wife. Therefore, Cecilia de Venables was showing birth circa 1255 or before works when compared to her half-brother: Hugh de Venables, 8th Baron Kinderton b. circa 1256 and Sir William Venables, of Bradwall b. circa 1257.
