Chlodio I Long-Hair, King of the Franks 's connection to Merovech is sketchy - Gregory of Tours wasn't sure - he says, "some say that Merovech, the father of Childeric, was descended from Chlodio", and Merovech himself is regarded as at least semi-legendary.
