Jeffrey's birth is 10 years after she supposedly died. His mother's profile show she died in 1598.

Issue still not resolved one year after posting error notice.

If Jeffrey was the son of Matthew Gooch , then either Matthew remarried and Jeffrey's mother wasn't Alice Gooch , or Alice did not die in 1598.

I can’t tell from the revisions when that death date got put in for Alice; she had no death date at all for most of her time on Geni. At any rate, Stirnet gives her death date as 1640, which is much more reasonable, so I put that in.

Unless there are locks on fields or relationships, you are always empowered to make necessary changes on Geni. No need to seek consensus unless something is highly controversial. Next time, feel free to just go ahead and make changes as you see fit, and preferably with the addition of whichever source(s) you used.
