In regard to the above named John Zachariah Fugate, son of Frances Mould and his sister, Ann Fugte Jarratt - - I have the birth record for these two children - - - John's reads as follows - * John son of Peter Furat bornd on the head of Musketa Creek on the twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord 1689 * - - - no mention of a middle name, middle initial or the name of his mother. It is found on pg 2 of the St Johns Parish Records, in Baltimore County, Maryland. On the same pg is a record of birth for John's sister, Ann. Ann's reads as follows - * Ann daughter of Peter Furat, bornd on Spesutia Creek on the fourteenth day of March in the year of our Lord 1692. * There is a land record for Peter and Frances dated 4 Jul 1690 that sells their land on Musketa Creek, where son John was born the year before. This would be the timeframe they left Musketa Creek and moved to Spesutia Creek where daughter Ann would be born in 1692
I've not found a single record that names John of 1689 as anything other than John - no middle name, no middle initial. It is the same for Ann, no middle name, no middle initial , even though I've seen trees that name her as Ann Sarah or Sarah Ann. I can provide proof of everything I mentioned here in this message. You only need to ask and I will gladly post the records as proof of this information.
