Regarde of Bavaria - Parental Connections

The first line of her profile notes state:

As of 3 Feb 2019, Medlands does not list this person as Gotfrid's daughter.

and yet she is given further lineage here on Geni via the disputed father. This is problematic for those of us trying to make sure we don't connect to speculative ancestry.

If there is new / additional info to validate her parentage, hopefully someone will include that in her notes. Until such time, I personally think it's better not to connect unproven parents to this or any profile. As far as I'm concerned, this is a brick wall for me, because if her parents aren't proven, I can't trust they're my ancestors.
