Not the only source, found her marriage to Captain Henry Alday aka Halday - married in England, she was the daughter of a Naval Officer and Master Shipwright- actually makes sense - Henry was a ship Captain, most likely how he met the daughter of Thomas and Jane Gray,
This is the reason finding documentation is so important when working on our ancestry, not just copying online trees.
I have records of her father Thomas Gray;s probate, listing his occupation as a Shipwright, he died in Shadwell, Middlesex, England after her and her mother. Also have the baptism record of Thomas Gray and his marriage to Jane -
Finding documentation and the true stories is much more interesting,
Do you all concur Grace Gray was not the daughter of Francis Gray, of St. Mary's & Machodoc
