Elizabeth Ward

I am seeing some changes at FS made BY FamilySearch

Someone merged the judge at FS and gave him a new wife Rebecca Gardner and moved children to her.

I am left scratching my head until I can see some evidence for why but Elizabeth does not appear concrete--- Jeremiah is definitely mentioned. My main focus has been in keeping the male line correct but this is news to me

Need a curator, please

It's a BAD merge--- they made him born 1615 and son of John Wards 1597

I did NOT make any changes on Family Search. But, on my own personal RootsMagic , I do show the following:
William and Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine, Ward Family, pg. 192, 1919.
Genealogies of VIRGINIA FAMILIES From the William and Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine Volume V Page 357-376 WARD FAMILY (contains more history of William Blackman) (William Blackman's 2nd wife was the widow of Captain Seth Ward)
Ward family: Seth Ward of Henrico County was the father of Richard Ward. Richard Ward of Henrico County was a magistrate there in 1666, the date of his birth is not known; but, he died in 1682. Richard Ward married Elizabeth (surname unknown).
My own records show that Jeremiah Blackmon was the father of a William Blackmon, who it appears was a widower with a newborn baby boy, also named William... and that Elizabeth Sarah then married Magistrate Richard Ward II (son of CAPT Seth Ward), and Elizabeth Sarah had a son a few years later named Richard Edward Ward. My records show Richard Ward and Elizabeth Sarah raised THEIR son and also William Blackmon's baby boy William Blackmon JR. (Possibly, the last name is Blackman...not sure of that..
Whichever, whatever --- please keep me informed on this -- so I can correct my personal records. I don't know how Family Search can often get things so mixed up, but they do.

Hi, Alan Everett Gell!
Thank you for looking.
The curator for the profile is very nice and very helpful but I have not seen any activity from him in some time and today when I added info from a DNA match’s tree, I saw a path at FamilySearch that was not familiar and ran it down. I know these are popular lines and sometimes it can be too easy to change something and not easy enough to undo changes or folks just make a mistake and don’t realize it.
I am a middle person in that I know enough to know I don’t know enough lol
But these are important so I ask for help

Alan Everett Gell there is mention in the comments at Wikitree that both are attached to women of same name Elizabeth Blackmon.
I may need to ask the question to go to G2G there but I don’t do that often
I would rather have a NN (unknown) than an error so I am hoping a curator and other descendants as well can weigh in.
I have seen NO Gardner in the books/sources I have found for this Ward family.
