First i had an in law only relationship but did further digging and President Biden is my 12th cousin. Geni sometimes don't display records over 500 years where i pick up most of my VIP connections.

That happened to me also when I was looking for relationshop and only in-law relationships only appeared and found that you can also check you might be connected in other ways and that's our then my blood relationship appears but sometimes you have it both.

Hi ! I've just checked it and as you described I found its all proven path because I followed each person and their relationship to each other and do all have relationships or connections from blood relationships to in-law relationships. Thanks ! God bless !

I have the in law relationship with President Biden and 56 previous U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents and Umpteen World Leaders, and I just checked good ole Hitler for the heck of it.... add yep I've got an in-law relationship with the him too. I sure would like to know who in my family tree is the super connecting ancestor/s because It definitely is mind boggling to me.

Dr. Will. I just read your thread and I did not think to go beyond President Biden to pick up the blood relationship. You are amazing. I will do the same for all of my In-law relationships only. The good-The bad- and The Ugly. We don't get to pick and choose which genes were handed down to us. There is no such thing as a "slave" gene and I love all my cousins, then and now. Yes, even the ones with a mean heart. Cause I know that did not come from our genes. Mitochondrial Eve would be turning in her grave to think she planted that seed. Some things are inherent.to a person's lifestyle or upbringing. But there is hope. Our children.

Victor you are welcome. I always click the DNA tab and click the hyperlink to see if there are Autosomal/Mitochondrial or Y-DNA matches that I can match with just to see if I am confirmed by Geni. Try to pick someone living. Or recently deceased from the list. This is a hit and a miss. But an excellent tool none the less. Geni has done most of the work for you. You just click.

I did not get a Blood match with President Biden either and I took the Biden Line all the way back to the 1700's where it stopped because the last Biden profile did not list the father or mother. Peculiar but I decided to stop digging for now. :-)
