I have a fairly extensive tree in Ancestry that I've worked on for 10+ years. I have been going through person by person and looking at every single document closely because even after all these years and all of our family testing our DNA, I still cannot 100% feel comfortable with where my 3rd ggf John W Stewart came from. Now that I've tested my Y-DNA, I have matches that show my line on the other side. I'm missing/can't confirm 2/3 generations.
Lord Bruce....editing your profile was a good start towards a better reputation. Now, don't continue to ramble on, and on, about "how great thou art". None of us are better than the other. We ALL have a lot to be proud of in our trees.
Every profile.....that we have talked about in this discussion.....we have brought them back to life.....even for a moment.....isn't that incredibly amazing! Wouldn't it be GREAT if hundreds of years from now, our names would be talked about.....our ancestors would not forget us. I hope they would say "Wow....what an incredible character she was.....she has brought a smile to my face...."
