This is very mixed up. Gracie/Gracey/O'Gracie was a family name on the maternal ancestry side of President James Knox Polk and has nothing to do with the mother of James Polk, David Polk, Jane Strawbridge and Elizabeth Williams of Somerset County, Maryland. Their mother was Ann (Nancy) Knox, widow of William Owens (d.1698), who married 2ndly William Polk, son of Robert and Magdalen Polk of Ireland and Somerset County Maryland.
