“Mary Worden's will is dated 6 Mar. 1686, probated 31 May 1687 and was published in Mayflower Descendant, Vol. 3, p. 201. The original is filed in Barnstable Co., Probate Records, Cape Cod.”
“Mary left her Indian squaw to her son Samuel, her clothing to be divided among her three daughters Mary Burge, Mercy Winslow and Martha Seaverns. The balance of the estate went to her son-in-law John Burge [Burgess] who was her executor. The will was probated 31 May 1687 and witnessed by Samuel Sears, Silas Sears and Gov. Thomas Hinckley.”
