Does anyone know what the Coat of Arms for Ann's Hoskins side looks like? I know what mine looks like. I believe I may be descended from her. The names of her sons look very familiar to me, from genealogy work my father did, before the days of the internet. I'm American.

Ann Hoskins (Hinds) is as far back that I've been able to go on mtDNA (mom's side).
Her parents per Geni are William Hinds 1580-1678, wife Margaret. Woman seldom had their own coat of arms thus look for her dad's. If you find an honest coat please let me know.

Thanks, I meant through her husband, though. To my understanding, women do receive coats of arms, but they don't get a shield shape, they get a round "lozenge" shape. It's referred to as a badge. If you look up the Queen's, you'll see what I mean.
