Something isn't right here, if he is born around -151. See the path back to the biblical figures.

Early Islamic historians identified Qahtan with the Yoqtan (Joktan) son of Eber Of the Hebrew Bible (Gen. 10:25-29). James A. Montgomery finds it difficult to believe that Qahtan was the biblical Joktan based on etymology.[4][5]
What I see here is a huge mess. *Sigh*
As Erica says, the Arab tradition equates Qahtan and Yoqtan, which cuts out "only" about 1300 years. As always, this USED to be cleared up. I'll cut the line and put comments in the About me of both profiles.
In any case, the path Randy linked to, is through some wives and daughters. There is NO WAY this is supposed to be continuous. I'm sorely tempted to go through all of those, and cut them up and off. But this would involve more time than I have, to check versus the primary source for these, the "Book of Jubilees".
