it states that Black Duncan's ghost can be seen searching the rooms for his murderer.
Nowhere else can I find any mention of how he died. However, given he clearly made an awful lot of enemies and is possibly one of the main reasons that the Campbells have such a reputation for being grasping scumbags in Scotland (;-)) - I grew up in Edinburgh and I know MANY such...
I can imagine he made some pretty dedicated enemies so it would be not surprising.
But given the old bastard was 80 when he died, I am questioning this tale that he was murdered.
