http://www.nltaylor.net/ancestry/royaldescents/magruder.htm (respected professional) has a descent from Elizabeth Somerville who seems duplicated as her aunt Elizabeth Somerville
The aunt tree position works better with Archibald Campbell, Master of Campbell dates frankly. It’s not what TSP has though.
This has been brought up again.
Here’s the page in TSP calling Elizabeth’s father “John, third lord Somerville of Carnwath.”

This marriage is suspect because it appears that Elizabeth's husband died before her parents married. Even allowing for inconsistencies on the numberings of the Lords, the dates appear not to match yet this marriage is reported in various sources, including TCP (Argyll). This will be investigated further in due course.

Do we want to just make a different “third lord” as her father? Or a NN?
Her son’s dates are firm.

The birth and death dates awarded to Lady Elizabeth Somerville seem likely to be fictitious. In my opinion they should be removed from her profile. If it is possible to block these fields then it should be done. The Scots Peerage accounts, both for Campbell, Earl of Argyll, and Somerville, Lord Somerville, make no mention of her date of birth, or her date of death, most likely because these dates could not be identified from authentic records.
