If I may add, Josiah King Howell is the father of Congressman Thomas Jefferson Howell and Howell County, Missouri was named after Josiah so it feels important to get the merges correct.

I went through every duplicate that showed up in my merge file. I spent an entire day either comparing and merging or comparing and rejecting. Now I need to fix some discrepancies and dates on those profiles that had been neglected and more current accurate information has been found.

What I am finding in many of them are abandoned private trees that are listed as private going back to colonial America or current people who keep their branches on private well over the 150 years. Once merged, I no longer can see them and if private, I can't get a link to share. Emailing the individual doesn't work always.... But still merging what I can.

One was called Master Robert Richard b 1728 - never heard of him??? who was he, didn't know he was part of the Moseley family?
