I can’t resist tree matching. The Sibley is driving me moderately nuts so I’m just leaving it there.

George Little's mother has 2 husbands of the same name - Edward Little (old) and Edward Little (added 2019).

George is MP so I do not want to mess with him.

John Hinds, of Lancaster (MP) and John Hinds, of Lancaster are the same person.

Hannah Hayward (old) and Hannah Hayward (shell).

Their daughter - Anna Walker-Goodale-Ware (old) and Anna Walker-Goodale-Ware. No other children are duplicated.

I won't touch the MP. I would do the merge on the wife but because the husband is MP, I won't.

Ann (Prudden) Coley (MP) has 2 complete sets of parents. Likely cause - https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=73975000190. This merge also left her with duplicated husband and one child.

Thanks for helping me clean these conflicts from the "tree".

I've completed the merges of the parents and made minor adjustments and resolved conflicts for Ann (Prudden) Coley.

Mary King: Now LDIII has a bad unmerge. Being married to a woman born 24 years after he died and with a son born 73 years before she was born makes the unmerge about the same as the merge. Hopefully, you can fix.

Geni has 1721 and https://hoffmanthomas.us/genealogy/familygroup.php?familyID=F978&am... (citing Stiles' History of Ancient Windsor) has May 30, 1731.

Sgt. Edmund Towne (MP) is the same as Sgt. Edmund Towne. Also, Mary Towne (MP) and Mary Towne.

I would do the merges but both MP profiles are relationship locked.

Anne (added April 2019) looks to be the same person as Ann Bradbury, the wife of William.

I found this looking up the tree from a recent add to my pile of matches.

https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=74153426730 has left Abigail Wadsworth with two mothers - Mary Andrews (MP) and Mary Andrews (added June 2019). The two Mary profiles have different parentage.

FYI all: You can still merge duplicates of a relationship-locked profile ... it is just that any of the profiles connected to that profile being "brought in" will be disconnected ... and left "hanging out there". If those now-disconnected profiles are also proper duplicates, they can also be merged in separate step(s).

The net effect of a relationship lock (RL) is to prevent "adding in" un-intended spouses, children, or parents. It does not prevent merging of duplicate profiles ... the purpose is to prevent "dragging along" other profiles as part of that merge of one (hopefully proper!) duplicate.

i think one of these trees are wrong. I don't think he had 4 wives.
