It was noted that she was buried in Holy Faith Cemetery, however a 3greats grandson found her grave in Howe Creek Cemetery this July 2018. The stone is broken in half. These photos are courtesy of him, Shawn Slater Chase.

On further research, we've discovered this Nancy Stone headstone was not OUR Nancy Wiyangewin Stone. Santee Mission books show our's as being buried in Holy Faith Cemetery & the one in Howe Creek is a different Nancy Stone with different dates.
