I think this is the daughter of his son John, anyhow that is how it was.

Also I don't have an Alice wife on my older versaion

You're right, it's not likely that Margaret Trenowith had a daughter when she was 53, although it's a vague possibility.

I can but I think its a matter of moving Jane as daughter of son John and removing Alice second wife of this John.

Hmm someone has really been messing Jane has this LINK in her occupation field http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=rwfur...

Might need to check who has been fiddling and sit back to work out what has happenned here.

I have an olf file, prior to all this.

Jane also needs to be removed as wife of this one, child same age as her

Thomas Trevanion

He had this LINK in occupations, putting html/links in DB is not good!

I cannot do those changes to relationships.

OK I have separated Jane from Thomas Trevanion and moved her down one generation as child of John Petit, of Ardevora

I have changed Margaret Trenowith parents Back to Ralph and Jane Bassett

Erica Howton from here up John Petit, of Ardevora does not agree with that publication but Id like to see the visitations etc as well. Its huge!

Erica Howton this is from the visitations (1660) that we have here now, I am happy to help but I do not know which is right or which is wrong.

According to HOP, Jane Basset, 1st wife, son & heir John. Maud, da. and h. of John Tregorrick†, 5da

What I don’t know is if she’s the Margaret who married John Petit ap Mychel

... and I also think these might be different Petit men. But I’m hampered by inadequate sources.

John le Petit, II wife and mother the same, mother should be Alice daughter of Mirabell Durhall (nee Beauchamp) as per visitations. 1660 and that is the end of what they record.

John Petit of Ardevora mMargaret daughter of Ralph Trenoweth of Trenoweth this is the better version they say with evidence.

Sir Otes Petit, lord of Ardevora is the cousin of Sir John lll Petit, of Ardevora according to the visitation

They were co heirs and Otes wife's mother was Isabell le Blanch sister of King Henry III

So Otes wife here needs to be attached to her royal family :) Elizabeth fitz Ive

Isabella Heligan

Did she have 2 husbands?

Not on this 1620 but prior an Isabella Fitz Iva MARRIED Sir Belyin Heligan

Ill source her now as the doc is uploaded, planned to do that but got side tracked with our link to this line, Peter. Cant find the records that were put in to confirm it so I am checking that work as well. Rev. Hugh Peter, Regicide

Erica Howton the Hugh Peter above is quite a charactor, important in US as well, helped start Harvord College and helped behead Charles I only to be Hung drawn and quarter, de masculated and disembowelled :( :( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Peter

“Connected to Gov Winthrop through his wife ...”

Which one ? Deliverance Peter Or Elizabeth Peter

(I shall look for this ....)

Ah - his step daughter’s husband

Elizabeth Winthrop

There’s a soc.gen.med discussion of Deliverance Sheffield’s possible ancestry

Also, we have the Regicides project (I’ll find & post & add the Rev)

Cool thanks. The whole visitation is sourced now. Not the Halegons, theres more work to be done.

I saw you adding docs! But seriously, it’s not every day you find a Regicide in your tree. Let’s polish him up.
