I suspect many of the dates are off, but Leopold couldn't have been born in 989. His 5th great grandson Heinrich von Schweinfurt was born in 950.

I was wondering about that, too. Are the dates off, or is this the wrong person?

Egon Biechl says about Luitpold

He is born abt. 940 and died 10.7.994.
Also further details shoud be checked!

Egon, your wikipedia reference is to Leopold I , the Illustrious/Serene (* around 940; † 10 July 994 in Würzburg ), also called Luitpold , from the Babenberg dynasty , was Margrave of Austria from 976 to 994. This is another wikipedia page for him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopold_I,_Margrave_of_Austria

and you're right - he does need cleaning up.
