Meghan's Mon is black. Her father is white. This makes her mixed. Big deal. She appears to be a very nice person. Be very careful; what might shake out of your tree.

I too go to the Queen's direct line/ All this and a a couple bucks will get me a cup of coffee and it won't get me an invite to the wedding and transportation to get there.

I am related to Harry through both the Bowes-Lyon line and the Spencer-Churchill line.

I’m not sure of the proper description but I understand the phenomenon, it applies to Americans with Colonial ancestry.

Prince Harry of Wales is my 9th cousin twice removed. I can't get any path to Meghan Merkle right now, except through Harry. It looks like her Merkle ancestors were from Metz and settled in PA.

I found that Meghan Markle is Prince Harry's 12th cousin once removed. This was found before her "fiancee" relationship was added to Geni

She is also the 22nd great-grand-daughter of King John "Lackland" of England and 33rd great-grand-daughter of Charlemagne.

All the Presidents of the USA, up to and including B.H. Obama, can trace a direct line back to King John.

If you can stretch your beliefs and assume that the relationships in antiquity are genuine, then she is also the 78th great-grand-daughter of Adam of Eden
