As the profile is written today, it says, more or less, that Orderic Vitalis says that Malahuc was the brother of Ragnvald Mørejarl.

When I read it more closely, it seems to say that Orderic Vitalis says he was the uncle of Rollo, and that being a brother of Ragnvald is an inference drawn by the profile editor.

Am I reading this correctly? If so, should we make the profile say so explicitly?
(Since Rollo's own ancestry is in doubt, we should at least make sure we say what the sources say, and no more.)

Agreed. According to MedLands:

"His family origin is confirmed by Guillaume of Jumièges who names 'Rogerius Toenites de stirpe Malahulcii qui Rollonis ducis patruus fuerat' [1113], suggesting that Malahulc was ancestor of the later Tosny family."

Translation: Roger de Tosny from the family of Malahulc who was paternal uncle of Duke Rollo.

"Orderic Vitalis (writing in [1113]) names Malahulc as an uncle of Rollo and ancestor of the Tosny family[2899]."

"He is not mentioned in the Sagas."

That's seems more than enough to correct the gloss in the profile.
