Congratulations to Allen Ginsberg on being the 100th banned author added to this project! He'd certainly be proud to be in the company of fellow censored thinkers and creatives.
We have so many major non-Anglophone writers we need to add. Many are listed in the overview, but I'm sure we can all come up with more. If any of our collaborators from non-Anglo countries can try to help get profiles going for them, that would be a huge help.
Thank you so much for all your help with my favorite project! :)
Private User Congratulations---impressive significant project!
Perhaps another 44 banned authors can be winnowed from the list below.

"In this list of banned books, we present a reading list of 144 books which were banned and blacklisted at some point, along with the reasons why."
Malka Mysels, thank you so much! I already see some there that we're missing, so I'll get to work adding them.
Here's a good list of authors banned by the Nazis.

Thank you, Randy Schoenberg! If there are any collaborators of yours who might want to join the project and help build some of the missing trees, please consider inviting them.

Thank you kindly, Judith Berlowitz! I'll get to work on those as well. Exciting to see more people finding this project!
I'm especially grateful for the Otago link...New Zealand's history of book-banning is often surprising to people. They just banned another book last month. Very sad.
You're so welcome, Ashley! This project will make a nice companion piece for the [http://www.geni.com/projects/The-Hollywood-Blacklist/16955 '''Hollywood Blacklist''']!
